You may or may not know that I am a member of the Dahlonega Literary Festival organizing committee. I’m the website and social media person (Whatcha Readin’ Wednesday? yeah, that’s totally me!). Anyway, to drum up a bit more publicity for an upcoming fund-raising event, I’m cross posting on my personal blog. We will be hosting a used book sale on July 4th (as part of family day celebrations) in Historic Downtown Dahlonega, GA. If you’re a local and would like to donate books to the cause (all proceeds go towards funding the 2014 DLF), check out the info at the bottom of this post!
4th of July Used Book Sale
When: Thursday, July 4, 2013
10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Where: Dahlonega’s Historic Square
Come browse and find some books to add to your collection and support a wonderful festival. All used book sale proceeds support the
10th Annual Dahlonega Literary Festival
A Book Lover’s Paradise!
We need as many used books as we can get: paperback or hardbound, children’s books, cookbooks, fiction or non-fiction. If you live in or near Dahlonega and have any you would be willing to donate to help us keep all the festival events FREE, please contact Arienne Wallace at firstname.lastname@example.org. So, please go through your bookshelves and clean out your “I’m never going to read this again” stacks!
