Continuing our celebrations of Greg’s Birthday weekend, he and I returned to Moccasin Creek State Park on Lake Burton. We made a full day of it. We spent the morning canoeing the peaceful lake, grilled out some hotdogs in the picnic area under a beautiful tree by the lakeside, and then we went on what has become our favorite hiking trail–hemlock falls.
