…And no, I’m not talking about how my pants no longer fit due to all the food I had this weekend–well not entirely anyway. I’m talking about what matters most about this weekend-the sweet, sweet reads I picked up.
The event was a marvelous success. I’ll be doing a couple of post-Dahlonega Literary Festival posts this week (hopefully anyway), and I’ll talk more about what happened and the fun panels and whatnot. I have tons and tons of pictures, most of which weren’t half bad. Only a few of them were of the floor!
But back to what matters–the books.
Foxtale Book Shoppe was the festival’s book retailer this year, and they did an absolutely wonderful job! Their set-up was beautiful. I picked up four books from them at the festival (though I wanted so many more):
- Blood and Bullets by James R. Tuck
- Someone Else’s Love Story by Joshilyn Jackson
- City of Jasmine by Deanna Raybourn
- Wicked as She Wants by Delilah S. Dawson (read my review)
