Writing & Workout Stats: Sept 10-16

In the past week, I’ve edited about 5 pages worth of material–it’s not much, but at least it’s progress. Unfortunately, I left my files and exact numbers at my office at work, so I can’t give a more accurate account of my editing/writing activities. Did pretty decently with the exercising this week, though you can’t see how much I ate. For the most part, over the past week, I pigged one day and did good the next. I blame Greg’s Birthday for some of it. Birthday calories don’t count, right? Back on track with the calories this week. I’ve done well the past two days and will keep it up!

August Reads

August was a long month, which meant I read lots of books (Nine in total)! Unfortunately, by the end of August, I’m about 10 books behind my average if I want to finish 100 books by the end of the year. Time to really put the petal (my eyes) to the metal (more books!). (PARENTHESIS!!!)

Ooof, not much this week. Didn’t even do any editing. My exercise was sorely lacking, and I’ve been feeling the effects.

Writing and Workout Stats: Aug 20-26

In addition to the normal stats that I keep track of for purposes of my exercise journal, I have also been taking walks most everyday. These walks range from 20-40 minutes depending on how fast I eat my lunch. They don’t raise my heartbeat by very much, and so I don’t count them towards my cardio exercise. They’re more sanity breaks that just so happen to get me moving a bit more during my work day.

  • Note: Did about 30 minutes of gardening (pulling weeds, trimming bushes, hauling said weeds and trimmings down to the woods), and then push mowed inside our fence–it was enough of a workout.
